For the second year in a row, KFGE-Froggy 98 is a nominee for an Academy of Country Music (ACM) Award.
The ACM announced nominees for the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards on Monday, and once again, Froggy was one of six finalists for Small Market Station of the Year.
“It’s always good to be recognized by our peers and colleagues in the industry,“ KFGE Program Director Cory Edmondson said. “To be acknowledged on a national level really showcases the station’s dedication to being the best radio station in the Cornhusker State and the ‘No. 1 Station in Husker Nation.’”
In addition to its ACM nomination in 2025, Froggy received nominations for NAB Marconi Radio and Crystal Radio awards last year.
“There are more than 2,000 country radio stations across the United States, so to even receive a nomination or be a finalist for a country-wide award, is extremely special,” Broadcast House General Manager Ami Graham said. “In addition to this being our second nomination for ACM Small Market Station of the Year in two years, Froggy 98 was also one of five finalists for the prestigious Marconi Award in 2025 and was a finalist for the 2026 Crystal Radio Award."
“It’s been a great year for the Froggy 98 team and I am so proud they are receiving recognition for the great work they do in our community!”
This year’s show emanates from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 17th, where all winners will be honored. For more information, and to see a full list of nominees, please visit ACMcountry.com.
