The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) announced KFGE-Froggy 98 as a finalist for an NAB Marconi Radio Award in the category of Small Market Station of the Year on Thursday.
Winners will be announced on October 21st at The Edison Ballroom in New York City during a dinner hosted by “Elvis Duran and the Morning Show” co-hosts Danielle Monaro and Medha Gandhi.
UPDATE: Broadcast House General Manager Ami Graham and Froggy 98 Program Director Cory Edmondson flew to New York to honor excellence and performance in radio during a lively ceremony that unfortunately, did not see Froggy 98 take home the award for Small Market Station of the Year. The two did have a great time exploring the city however, and Cory got to wear a suit provided by Shannon Formal Wear.
Established in 1989 and named after inventor and Nobel Prize winner Guglielmo Marconi, the NAB Marconi Radio Awards are given to radio stations and outstanding on-air personalities to recognize excellence in radio.
